Metal Braces & More

Fixed Appliances Vs. Removable Appliances
At Draper Elite Orthodontics, we believe you should be fully educated regarding your treatment. It’s helpful for our Draper patients to understand the difference between fixed and removable appliances.
Braces are fixed appliances, so Dr. Streiff attaches them to your teeth and won’t take them off until you complete your treatment in our Draper office.
You’ll wear removable appliances like clear aligners for most of the day, but you can take the trays out of your mouth to eat and brush your teeth.
